Homes England
Supporting communications and engagement for the government’s housing and regeneration agency
Our full-service offer for Homes England, the government’s housing and regeneration agency, spans a full range of activities including public relations, community engagement strategy, advice and reporting, design and print. We successfully deliver these projects collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
We provide communications and marketing support to Homes England’s proposed Chalgrove Airfield development. The site, located in South Oxfordshire, is a former World War II aerodrome that has been allocated for redevelopment in the local plan. Homes England intends to transform the site into a new, 21st century market town, delivering much needed homes, community facilities, infrastructure and employment.
The project has called upon our integrated service offer, and activity includes media relations, website content updates and stakeholder engagement, including council members’ briefings to ensure that all communication for this complex project is timely, transparent, accurate and inclusive. Working together with Homes England and its agencies, Pillory Barn has also delivered a series of community engagement events for Chalgrove Airfield, including online engagement events and activity, culminating in writing and designing a Statement of Community Involvement to support the planning process.
In addition, we support a further proposed Homes England development at West of Ifield near Horsham, West Sussex. This sustainable new neighbourhood will provide new homes, jobs and infrastructure, to meet identified development needs and integrate existing communities.
Our full-service support to the project includes maintaining a regular communications flow, with content and website updates and news announcements. We deliver community engagement activity through public consultation events, supplying an end-to-end engagement service from strategy through to event delivery and reporting.
