With UK fire and rescue services spending half a billion pounds on procuring third-party suppliers’ goods, the National Fire Commercial Transformation Programme (NFCTP) was part of this ongoing drive.
A need for a new website was identified to improve how the changes would be communicated, where all information on the NFCTP could be laid out in an easy to navigate way – and showcase their importance.
We won a competitive pitch to deliver what would become a digital procurement hub, a website that would encourage better collaboration across the UK fire and rescue services.
The results from a remote user experience session with key stakeholders informed the wireframes that gave us a great steer on delivery, complete with high fidelity responsive design.
Our coders then set to work on development and ensuring both content and site navigation hit the spot – from tone of voice to user journey. Before going live there was a full testing process to ensure nothing was missed, including SEO optimisation and accessibility.
The feedback to the site has been positive with high praise from the client and strong levels of engagement.
