The Mall Maidstone has been a cornerstone of the local community since 1976, evolving to meet the needs of the county town’s shoppers. Since 2015, Pillory Barn has proudly partnered with The Mall to enhance its social media presence and deepen community engagement.

To ensure The Mall maintains a strong connection with its community, Pillory Barn provides a comprehensive social media service. This includes:

  • Written content creation: Monthly social media content is tailored to engage audiences across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Visual content creation: Twice a month, our team visits The Mall to capture fresh images and videos, ensuring content stays current and aligns with social media trends.
  • Performance monitoring: The campaign is backed by regular performance tracking to ensure strategies remain effective and adaptive.

In 2016, we collaborated with The Mall to celebrate its 40th anniversary and revitalised shopping centre, including helping to organise a Family Day event featuring beloved CBeebies star Mister Maker. Families enjoyed creative activities, including crafting personalized ‘M’ boxes, which served as memorable keepsakes.

A key achievement of our collaboration with The Mall Maidstone has been supporting their expansion onto TikTok, ensuring they stay relevant in the ever-evolving social media landscape. In 2024, we also played a pivotal role in preparing award entries for their Christmas Donation Hub initiative, which earned a prestigious shortlist for the Sceptre Awards. Through engaging content and memorable in-person events, The Mall continues to strengthen its connection with the community. Our ongoing partnership ensures The Mall remains a vibrant and community-focused destination both online and offline.
