We are looking for a great team player to join our full-service marketing agency. We work with a range of clients across B2B and B2C throughout the UK but with a specialism in Kent and the surrounding areas. As well as delivering campaigns for leisure venues, local authorities, public sector organisations, large-scale developers, and emerging destinations.
We are smart communicators, telling our clients’ stories creatively across multiple channels and delivering data-driven results every step of the way.
2024/25 are shaping up to be busy years for us, and demand for our services has grown considerably. We are now looking for an additional account manager with a passion for traditional and digital communications and a desire to work on some really interesting and varied accounts.
This is where you come in…
Whether you’re a driven PR looking for that next step or an experienced account manager looking for a new collaborative team of colleagues, we want to hear from you.
Our goal is simple – to deliver for our clients – and you will be part of the team that will make that happen. Experience in placemaking and/or the built environment or public sector communications would be an advantage, but if you’re driven and keen to learn, this is not essential.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in delivering creative communications and marketing campaigns either for an in-house team or in an agency environment. You will have a working knowledge of devising winning stakeholder engagement projects and content plans and thrive on using the outcomes to inform future campaigns.
You will be responsible for a number of our key clients, so knowledge or experience of working in the public sector or with B2B clients would be advantageous. You’ll be driven to obtain data-rich results and be comfortable updating and advising clients directly.
We have a team of exceptional communicators, social media experts, writers, digital and creative experts to support you in delivering for our clients but being incredibly hands on with all tasks is a must.
The main duties of the role will include:
- Developing, delivering and reporting on bespoke communications and marketing strategies for your clients
- Engaging and converting target audiences through your content
- Liaising with the media and securing effective coverage for your clients
- Supporting on engagement events as required
- Meticulous management of client accounts, including regular reporting and results presentations
- Creating or overseeing written content, award entries, press releases, and social media content
- Seeking and securing new marketing opportunities for each of your clients whilst growing and maintaining a sound network of contacts
- Working on proposals for potential clients, including writing and delivering new business pitches
- Being a trusted, knowledgeable and proactive advisor to your clients
- Promoting some of the most exciting stories in Kent and the South-East
Required skills and qualifications:
- Minimum of three years’ experience in marketing and/or PR
- Experience working in built environment (BE), property, placemaking or public sector marketing (desirable)
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver results
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise
- A proactive approach to workload and new ideas
- Agency experience an advantage but not essential
Additional skills:
Knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation and other online marketing disciplines would be advantageous.
In return, we offer a good package (depending on experience and subject to a qualifying period), including a health plan, sickness insurance, career progression, training and a flexible working environment with a hybrid working contract.
What we offer you:
- Competitive salary (DOE)
- Hybrid working
- Workplace pension scheme
- A day off for your birthday!
- Health cash plan
- Group income protection scheme
- Recognition and long service rewards
- Recruitment referral initiative
If you are a switched-on, savvy, hard-working marketing professional who understands that delivery for our clients is our priority, we want to hear from you.
